The Peterbilt 587 was an aerodynamic semi-truck model produced from 2010-2016. It was launched as the replacement for the earlier 387 Model offering improvements in fuel efficiency, technology, and interior comfort. The 587 Model was eventually phased out in favor of the more advanced and succesful Model 579.
